PCB Design
Good in-house layouters are hard to find and even harder to keep busy. Traditional layout service providers are often expensive and inflexible.
The Solution?
PCB Layout as a flexible Subscription!
Overview:
Services:
-
Placing and routing PCB layouts
-
Creating library elements (symbols, geometries)
-
Calculate the layout geometries, single-ended and differential traces for the respective stackup
-
Preparation of data for PCB production (Gerber and NC drill files, ODB++, IPC-D-356 file, drill drawing PDF file)
-
Preparation of data for assembly production (circuit diagram files, parts lists, solder paste stencil data, pick and place file, top/bottom assembly drawings and assembly variants)
Development Tool:
-
Altium Designer
Your Advantages:
Manage your design requests with Trello or Altium 365. Active, queued and completed tasks can be easily displayed and (re-) prioritized.
Neither are we! That's why we organize our projects with you completely online. This makes it possible to work on your project at any time of day.
There are no phone calls or team meetings.
Invite your entire team to your Trello board so that everyone can submit requests and track their progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a valid consideration! The annual cost of a full-time senior layouter now exceeds €50,000, plus benefits - and it's a challenge to find anyone at all. Additionally, there is the possibility that there may not be enough work throughout to fully utilize him, meaning you would be paying for unused work time.
Flexibility through a monthly schedule
With the monthly plan, you can pause your subscription at the end of the current period and resume it at any time.
It is certainly always helpful to build up a network of freelancers outside your own organization to cover work peaks.
With Teleconnect, however, you do not rely on a single layout artist, but on a highly specialized team that can cover all your needs.
In addition, any absences of individual team members are compensated for by the team, which means that your project is not affected.
- One-off or sporadic requests that do not allow continuous work on a sufficient scale to justify the cost of the subscription.
- When you have a lot of coordination needs that require verbal communication. This is often caused by complex designs combined with a tight schedule.
- If you require work in Siemens Xpedition or Cadence Allegro. This comes from the increased effort in license management.
We have developed extensive expertise in the fields of data communication, industrial communication and automotive.
Our core competencies lie in low-voltage layout and communication technology. We offer fast solutions thanks to our in-house hardware development.
Please note that heavy current and high-voltage applications are not among our areas of specialization.
The layout team at Teleconnect in Dresden consists of experienced PCB designers with an average of 12 years of design experience.
Our service is characterized by concentrated workflows that are minimally defined by our specialists on a daily basis. Interruptions impair efficiency and concentration and can lead to avoidable errors. For personal support, we recommend our traditional layout service.
Due to the high quality of our work and the insignificance of the costs, we do not offer refunds.
We will revise the layout until you are 100% satisfied.
As a rule, work can begin within a few hours of receiving your data. If necessary, we will fill in missing information based on assumptions or through independent research.
It is important to clarify whether we should use your project library or adopt existing designs. The availability of data sheets for footprinting can also affect timelines, especially if manufacturers restrict subcontracting.
- Block diagram
- Circuit diagram with complete bill of materials (BOM) and any relevant constraints for processors, RAMs, interfaces and power supplies
- Mechanical drawing and CAD file for electronic transfer of the design
- Contour/blocking area (pdf/dxf format) and 3D installation space (STEP model)
- Thermal concept, if applicable
- Labeling and marking of the PCB, if applicable
- Known fixed components such as fixed positions, pin assignments, mechanical restrictions, etc.
- Symbol library and footprint library in Altium-compatible format (except for the components created by the contractor)
- Data sheets for special components
- Compliance with standards and safety requirements
